On Thusday night we talked about the "homework" on page 176. "An interesting exercise would be to survey one of the Gospels-- Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John-- and make a list of Jesus' commands. Then, to really start examining our heart in relationship to them. Were we aware of these commends? Are we willing to obey them? Which ones come naturally? Which will be the most difficult, and why?" I forgot to bring everyone a copy, so I thought I would post it here so you could see it. Remember, the list might not be perfect, but it's all the commands I found.
1. Do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from God. 4:4
2. Worship and serve the Lord only. 4:8
3. Do not test the Lord. 4:12
4. Do not be afraid. 5:10
5. Rejoice in the days of your affection. 6:23
6. Love your enemies. 6:27
7. Do good to those who hate you. 6:27
